A 5-min drive away is the town of Gouvia. It has two lovely beaches with shallow waters that are perfect for small children; rent some loungers and catch some rays, or try your hand at all kinds of watersports. The island’s capital, Corfu Town is also only a 20-minute drive with its buzzing nightlife, cultural sites, tasty restaurants and shopping boutiques.
